Gilda & Digno's Winter Wedding at Water's Edge, Center Port: An Enchanting Love Story
A snowy Valentine’s week set the stage for the exquisite winter wedding of Gilda Herndon and Digno Iglesias on February 17th, 2023, in Long Island, NY. As a Long Island wedding photographer, the moment I arrived at their charming home in Islip Terrace, I was captivated by the magic in the air.
Gilda's meticulous attention to detail was a sight to behold, beautifully complemented by her exquisite Jimmy Choo shoes that added an unmistakable touch of luxury and elegance. One of the most heartwarming moments we had the privilege of capturing was with her darling flower girl, their bond radiating pure joy and innocence. The setting was made even more magical with Gilda's bridal gown delicately hung in the backdrop, framing the window with its ethereal beauty. These unforgettable moments encapsulate the essence of this breathtaking Long Island wedding day.
Gilda, with her Martina Liana dress, looked absolutely radiant. Her make-up and hair were flawlessly done by the talented duo Laura Brooke & Diana Dodic, setting a tone of elegant sophistication. The bride’s maids, Silvina Luna, Valerie Iglesias, Stephanie Paisner, and Jamella Aniñon added to the aura with their grace and charm.
Meanwhile, my colleague reached the Hampton Inn & Suites in Huntington, where Digno and his groomsmen - Richard, Christopher, Marcelino, Ricardo, and Christopher prepared for the big day.
The full mass ceremony held at St. Patrick’s Parish in Bayshore was a touching tribute to love, with Danny Herndon, Gilda's brother, walking her down the aisle. The special request for two big family group shots at the church were heartwarming moments that we captured with great joy.
The celebration shifted to the idyllic Water’s Edge Centerport. The cocktail hour provided an elegant ambiance against the beautiful backdrop
As the newlyweds swept the dance floor for their first dance, there was an indescribable energy that radiated through the room. The Silverfox djs set the perfect mood for a wonderful night.
The breathtaking floral arrangements from Bleu Sparrow Events and the impeccable service from Camelot Specialty Limos added to the luxurious feel of the #IglesiasLoveStory. A day full of love, laughter, and lots of unforgettable details, it was a privilege to be part of Gilda and Digno’s special day.
